Double-gate
Maine Clôtures designs and manufactures a range of swimming pool barriers that conform to standard NF P 90-306, for example Clarilux from the Vigilance range, which has proved highly successful: transparent plastic-coated PVC panels on a heatlacquered aluminium frame. Opening and closing systems are a constant source of fascination for young children, who always try to overcome obstacles like these any way they can. To tackle this problem, the manufacturer's new products for 2006 have been developed around three different gate designs: a sliding gate made up of one sliding panel and one fixed panel for pools designed for family use, a swing gate equipped with a twin-release opening mechanism (push down on the edge of the button and then turn) for pools intended for family or shared use, a double-gate "airlock" system with two-stage access: the second gate will only open once the first one has closed. This system is also designed for pools intended for family or shared use.
